Aebi Schmidt Group (NASDAQ: AEBI) and Yeti Move are joining forces to bring airside operations into an autonomous future. The partnership covers winter fleets in North America with exclusivity in the US market and ensures key collaboration across selected markets in Europe and Japan. Vehicles from the Schmidt and MB brands will be equipped with Yeti Move's software platform, increasing safety and operational readiness in all weather conditions.
Airports are facing increasing pressure from rising costs, driver shortages, runway incursions, and harsh winter conditions. To meet exactly these needs, Aebi Schmidt and Yeti Move are teaming up to improve predictability, efficiency and operational performance. The partnership brings together two innovative companies: Aebi Schmidt as a leading manufacturer of specialty vehicles for airport operations, and Yeti Move as a leading provider of Driver assistance and autonomous software solutions for airports.
The Yeti Hub platform with Yeti Driver Assist and Yeti Autonomy will be integrated directly into snow removal vehicles from the Schmidt and MB brands. Airports will gain a fully integrated system: from driver assistance features that actively support operations and enhance safety today, to professional fleet management software and fully autonomous operating modes. Together, both companies are advancing vehicle automation and shaping the future of airports worldwide.
"Airports demand the highest standards of reliability and safety — at night, in extreme temperatures, and under time pressure. That is exactly what we are now able to address with Yeti Move," says Barend Fruithof, Group CEO at Aebi Schmidt Group. "Our vehicles are trusted by the world's most demanding airports. By integrating Yeti Move's automation software directly into our Schmidt and MB equipment, this partnership reflects our commitment to bringing the most advanced and integrated solutions to airports across North America and Europe."
